Sushmita (they/them) is an ASP student in the lab working on the neurobehavioral basis of the impact of chronic unpredictable early life stress on nociception in larval zebrafish. In addition to nerding out about all things science, they are passionate about disability justice and improving accessibility in academic spaces, as well as making scientific research more open source. In their spare time, they dabble in making art and can be found obsessing over their latest special interest, be it jigsaw puzzles or matcha boba.
