Shagun Sabharwal

I had the opportunity to work with Prof Bittu in the summer of 2018 and 2019 on various projects like ‘Application of Electrophysiology in cognitive and behavioural neuroscience’, ‘Neuronal basis of communication in crickets and bushcrickets’ and ‘Mathematical cognition in Zebrafish’. I was further sent to the Meghalaya subtropical forests to observe the mating behaviour of Bush crickets which exposed me to a whole spectrum of interdisciplinary research which in turn flamed my curiosity and excitement for fieldwork and research. Apart from research I really love to watch movies and cook.
